During the closing ceremony, GB Secretary of Tourism Asif Ullah Khan announced that the festival had brought in a substantial business worth $825,994 (equivalent to Rs 230 million). GB Governor Syed Mehdi Shah emphasized the vital role of such events in promoting the region and raising awareness about its unique attractions.

Adil Naseem, who earned the title of “Man of the Desert” after winning Category A, highlighted the immense potential of motorsports in Pakistan and suggested that it should be embraced more widely, dispelling the misconception that it is an activity exclusively for the wealthy.

In the women’s category, first-time participant Gul Naseem secured the first place, inspired by her husband’s participation in the rally. The Sarfaranga Cold Desert Rally continues to serve as a testament to the rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and untapped potential of Gilgit-Baltistan, while also contributing significantly to its economic growth.
