Shahrukh Khan Celebrating his 58th Birthday.


On November 2, the ‘Badshah’ of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, marks his 58th birthday, and this year’s celebration holds special significance for his fans. Shah Rukh had an exceptional year in 2023, with the remarkable success of his two movies, “Jawan” and “Pathaan,” which collectively grossed over ₹2,000 crore worldwide.

The King Khan’s birthday is anticipated to be an even grander affair as the official teaser of his upcoming film, “Dunki,” is expected to be unveiled on this special occasion. “Dunki” is set to hit theaters on December 22 and features an ensemble cast including Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and, of course, Shah Rukh Khan.


Shah Rukh Khan, born on November 2, 1965, in New Delhi to a Muslim family, spent his early years in Mangalore with his maternal grandparents before returning to New Delhi. He attended St. Columba’s School and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University, in 1988.

During his college days, Shah Rukh was an active participant in plays as a member of Delhi’s Theatre Action Group (TAG). After completing his bachelor’s degree, he pursued a master’s degree in mass communication at Jamia Millia Islamia University but decided to drop out and pursue acting instead.

Shah Rukh Khan’s journey to stardom began with his debut in the 1989 television series, “Fauji,” where he portrayed the leading role of Abhimanyu Rai.

The success of “Fauji” propelled him into the world of films, and within the next couple of years, he emerged as one of Bollywood’s leading actors. Known for his versatility, Shah Rukh has garnered immense popularity and a massive fan following, making him a global icon and one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema.


With a filmography boasting over 90 films, Shah Rukh Khan has received numerous awards, including 14 Filmfare awards.

As one of the richest actors globally, Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth is estimated to be around $760 million, or approximately ₹6,300 crore.

A substantial part of his income comes from film projects, with reported fees of ₹100-150 crore per film. Notably, he took a percentage of the profits for “Pathaan” instead of a fixed payment.


In addition to his film career, Shah Rukh Khan earns from businesses and brand endorsements. He co-owns Red Chillies Entertainment with his wife, Gauri Khan, and has stakes in start-ups like Byju’s and Kidzania. He also co-owns the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.

The actor boasts a portfolio of luxurious properties and a fleet of high-end cars. His Mumbai mansion, Mannat, is valued at ₹200 crore. He also owns villas in London and Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
