Two Policemen Lose Their Lives in Attack on Oil Company in DI Khan


A terrorist attack on an oil and gas company in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, early on Tuesday resulted in the martyrdom of two policemen, while three others sustained injuries. The attack occurred in the Drazanda tehsil of DI Khan and was reportedly carried out by terrorists.

Rescue teams promptly responded, shifting the bodies of the dead and the injured officers to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, one of the wounded policemen is said to be in critical condition.

The policemen had been deployed to provide security for the oil company, underscoring the dangerous nature of their duty.

Authorities have initiated a search operation in the area to locate and apprehend the culprits responsible for this heinous act.

This unfortunate incident marks the fifth terrorist attack reported in DI Khan over the past five days, highlighting the security challenges faced by the region and the dedication of the police force in protecting critical infrastructure.
